DEVO 03
Standing Firm in Spiritual Warfare
Father, I thank You for the armor You have provided to protect me in times of spiritual warfare. Help me to remain steadfast in prayer and rooted in Your Word. Strengthen me with Your Spirit and give me the courage to stand firm in the face of every attack. May I always rely on Your power and not my own.
In the powerful name of Jesus, Amen and Amen
WEEKLY SCRIPTURE:
Ephesians 6:11-12 NKJV [11] Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. [12] For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

SPIRITUAL REFLECTION
There are moments in our lives when it feels like we are under spiritual attack from every direction. These battles may manifest as fear, doubt, anxiety, or even direct challenges to our faith. During these times, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and defeated. Yet, the Word of God reminds us that we are not fighting these battles alone. God has provided us with His full armor, enabling us to stand firm against the enemy’s schemes. Prayer is one of the most powerful weapons in our spiritual arsenal. It is more than just speaking into the air; it is direct communication with God, who hears us and responds. Through prayer, we draw strength, receive guidance, and find peace even in the middle of the storm. It is our lifeline in times of spiritual warfare.

Equally important is reading God’s Word daily. The Bible is described as the “sword of the Spirit” (Ephesians 6:17, NKJV), a powerful tool that cuts through the lies and deceptions of the enemy. When we immerse ourselves in Scripture, we are reminded of God’s promises, His truth, and His power. The Word of God serves as our firm foundation, enabling us to stand strong when the enemy tries to shake us. If you are currently facing a spiritual attack, know that you are not alone. God is with you, and He has equipped you with everything you need to overcome. Commit to strengthening your prayer life and make it a priority to read and meditate on His Word daily. As you do, you will find that what was meant to defeat you will instead deepen your faith and strengthen your walk with God.
Reflection Question:
Are there areas in your life where you need to strengthen your prayer life and commitment to God’s Word? How can you make these spiritual disciplines a daily priority?
