Compassion in Action

Matthew 25:35-36 NKJV

[35] for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; [36] I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’

Jesus’ words in Matthew 25 remind us of the importance of serving those in need. Our non-profit strives to embody this compassion by connecting people with resources that can help them. Every act of kindness and support we offer is a reflection of Christ’s love.

Prayer:

Father, we come to You in the name of Jesus! Help me to see those in need through Your eyes and to respond with compassion and love. Guide me to opportunities where I can serve and make a positive impact.

In the powerful name of Jesus, Amen and Amen!

Reflection Question:

How can you show Christ’s compassion to someone in need this week?

  1. Thank you for sharing this reminder to help others like Jesus taught us. I’m going to look for ways to show kindness to someone in need this week. Let’s all try to be more like Jesus by loving and helping people around us. Amen! 🙏

  2. As I donate my time trying to help others it takes my mind off of things that bother me. So helping the less fortunate is not only a blessing to them but the greatest blessing is what I receive from them. God commands us to show love towards all, that is the greatest commandment.
