DEVO 01
Compassion in Action
Matthew 25:35-36 NKJV
[35] for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; [36] I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’
Spiritual Reflection:
Jesus’ words in Matthew 25 remind us of the importance of serving those in need. Our non-profit strives to embody this compassion by connecting people with resources that can help them. Every act of kindness and support we offer is a reflection of Christ’s love.
This week, consider how you can be the hands and feet of Jesus in your community. Whether it’s through volunteering, donating, or simply offering a listening ear, your actions can make a significant difference. We are called to plant seeds! Not just by our words but with our actions also.
Prayer:
Father, we come to You in the name of Jesus! Help me to see those in need through Your eyes and to respond with compassion and love. Guide me to opportunities where I can serve and make a positive impact.
In the powerful name of Jesus, Amen and Amen!
Reflection Question:
How can you show Christ’s compassion to someone in need this week?
